About Us

My mom always loved to bake.  When I was a little girl, she would talk about her dream of one day owning a bakery.  I loved spending time with her in the kitchen, watching the way her hands moved as she made delicious goodies.  My dream of having a bakery first started with her.  She inspires me to follow my dreams and share our delicious recipes with all of you.

Now, with the help of my husband, mom, and my own daughter, my dream of having a bakery has come true.  Sweet Beginnings is a small, family owned bakery.  We only use natural, real ingredients.  Our cakes and buttercreams are made with butter, never shortening.  We use real ingredients like lemon zest and strawberries, never artificial flavorings.  We firmly believe that your desserts should taste as great as they look.
